Shreyas Iyer nervous before RCB vs KKR match? Knights skipper forgets Playing XI at toss

In a bizarre turn of events during the Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) vs Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) match, KKR captain Shreyas Iyer forgot his playing XI despite having two team sheets in his hands.

During the RCB vs KKR IPL 2024 match, a surprising incident happened. Kolkata Knight Riders captain Shreyas Iyer found himself in a moment of forgetfulness despite having two team sheets in his hands. After winning the toss, Iyer was asked about his playing XI; he mentioned that Anukul Roy was part of the team but struggled to recall which player Anukul was replacing.

“My role is to play an anchor role. It’s always good to have a lethal bowling line-up. It is important to stay in the present. We have to see to it that we capitalize on the start. The bowling – Anukul comes in. I am seriously confused. There are two teams given to me,” said Iyer after winning toss and electing to bowl first at the M. Chinnaswamy Stadium

Apart from this, during the KKR team huddle, the entire side circled around Angkrish Raghuvanshi as the young opener was handed his debut cap against RCB. Raghuvanshi is likely to get substituted in during the second inning.
