Shocking sport: Rehan Ahmed sceptical, questions how anyone can play Golf

IND vs ENG Test: While enjoying break in Abu Dhabi, Rehan Ahmed questions how anyone can play golf

The England Cricket Team is currently enjoying their break in Abu Dhabi. When not playing cricket, the English players often bond over playing golf. New addition in the team, Rehan Ahmed has claimed that he doesn’t know how anyone plays the game.

The young spinner is a bit sceptical about golf. He went on to claim that golf is a ‘shocking sport’. He further added that he once held the golf club like a bat and hacked a wild swing.

“I’m not sure how anyone plays that sport. Shocking sport. I hold it [golf club]) like a cricket bat. Keysie [Rob Key] told me to smack it and I missed it by that much,” Rehan Ahmed told The Telegraph.

The IND vs ENG Test series is levelled at 1-1. Owing to a 10 day gap between the 2nd and 3rd Test, both the teams have decided to use this break well. While Indian players have got a break, England is currently in Abu Dhabi.

The Three Lions will not practice during this time. In fact the players will spend time with their family and access the series that they have played so far.

Rehan Ahmed will be joined by his brother in Abu Dhabi. The 19-year old has managed to scalp 8 wickets in 2 Tests and will be hungry for more wickets in the remainder of the series.
