Shaheen Afridi plans to ruin David Warner’s farewell Test series

Warner has announced during the 2023 Ashes that he’ll retire from Test cricket following the home AUS vs PAK series.

Ahead of the 3-match AUS vs PAK Test series starting on December 14, Pakistan spearhead Shaheen Afridi has issued a warning to David Warner. For those who are unaware, Warner has decided to hang up his boots after the series conclusion in Sydney. The touring side reached the shores of Australia on December 1 and is currently in Canberra for their warm-up match against the Prime Ministers XI.

When asked about this being David Warner’s last series, Afridi expressed his desire to end his career on the low.

“I think David Warner had a great career. He played really good cricket for Australia, not only for T20 but across all three formats, the newly appointed T20I skipper said.

He’s a wonderful guy. This is his last series, but hopefully not very good against us,” said Afridi while signing off.

Afridi was asked about David Warner around the 1:07 minute mark in the video
