Taking to social media platform X, Das said that his mission PSL was over even before it could begin. The Bangladesh keeper-batter revealed that he had suffered a finger injury during practice and that he would need at least two more weeks to recover from the hairline fracture.
“I was truly excited to play in the PSL for Karachi Kings, but the Almighty had other plans. During a practice session, I picked up a finger injury. Scans revealed a hairline fracture, and recovery will take at least 2 weeks,” Das wrote.
Karachi Kings will play their PSL 10 opener against Multan Sultans on Saturday.
Meanwhile, on Friday, reports claimed that Carey would skip PSL 10 due to domestic commitments. Williamson will not be available for the first half of the tournament as he is still recovering from an injury he sustained during the Champions Trophy.
South African pacer Corbin Bosch, who has been banned from PSL 10 for one year, decided to ditch the tournament for IPL 2025. He was picked by Peshawar Zalmi but instead opted to play for Mumbai Indians after being named as an injury replacement.
