The IPL 2024 season isn’t far away, and it seems like, despite playing the India vs England 3rd Test, Mohammed Siraj has already got one eye on the league. After taking a 4-wicket haul on Day 3 in Rajkot and helping his side get ahead, the fast bowler was interviewed by his Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) teammate Dinesh Karthik.
Karthik, who is part of the commentary team for the India vs England Test series, asked Siraj about how he enjoyed his 15-day rest time. The bowler replied:
“I did nothing. I was with my family, enjoyed it, I took a 5-day break, and then I trained at home. Was missing Jasprit (Bumrah) Bhai’s yorkers from home, so I thought that I would do it here in Rajkot.”
However, being great friends, after Mohammed Siraj finished his answer, he quickly commented, “Thank you, DK bhai; see you in RCB. The quick and witty comment left everyone in the commentary box and fans rolling with laughter as the day’s play came to an end.
