Cricket fans in Visakhapatnam are in for a treat as the Delhi Capitals (DC) gears up for the upcoming IPL 2024. The team will be arriving in the city on March 12th for a week-long practice session at the Dr YSR ACA VDCA Stadium.

Visakhapatnam becomes Delhi Capitals second home ground

With the Women’s Premier League (WPL) utilizing their home ground, the Arun Jaitley Stadium in Delhi, the Delhi Capitals have chosen Visakhapatnam as their temporary home base.

Impressed by the recent India-England Test match arrangements, the DC will play two of their IPL matches here.

Practice sessions and match schedule: IPL 2024

The Delhi Capitals team will be practicing at the Dr YSR ACA VDCA Stadium from March 12th to 19th. The Andhra Cricket Association (ACA) has assured the team of all necessary facilities, including security, sanitation, ticketing, and parking as per The Hindu.

The cricketing world eagerly awaits the return of Rishabh Pant, who will be leading the Delhi Capitals this season. Pant is making a comeback after a serious accident sidelined him for over a year.

Partial IPL 2024 schedule announced
