KL Rahul recalls impact of infamous interview with Hardik Pandya

Speaking in an interview with Nikhil Kamath on WTF, KL Rahul revealed that his suspension following the show came as a massive setback for him. The Karnataka batter revealed that he had never been suspended or punished in school and hence the suspension came as a shock to him. He said that he had become confident after playing for India and could talk to a room full of people but avoids it now after that episode.

Now I don’t (do that) because that (KWK) interview scarred me massively. Getting suspended from the team. I have never been suspended in school, I have never been punished in school. That (KWK interview and subsequent backlash) was my first (fall), and then you realise how bad it is,” KL Rahul said.
