The third season of Saurashtra Premier League is all set to get underway from Wednesday, 23rd August. The final will be played out a week later, on August 31st.
Five teams will fight for the crown in a round-robin format across eight days with the top two teams making it to the finals.
A total of 11 matches, including the final, will be staged at the Saurashtra Cricket Association (SCA) Stadium in Rajkot.
The five teams that will play the tournament are Zalawad Royals, Kutch Warriors, Halar Heroes, Sorath Lions, and Gohilwad Gladiators. In the second edition of the tournament, Halar Heroes got the better of Gohilwad Gladiators in the final to win the tournament. This time, the two teams will square off against each other in the first match of the tournament.
The tournament will see 16 out the 17 players from the Saurashtra squad that won the Ranji Trophy 2022-23 take part with Sheldon Jackson, Chetan Sakariya among the big names.

Match timings of SPL 2023
Saurashtra Premier League matches will start from 7pm IST. On days when double-headers are scheduled (August 25-26), the first match will start from 3pm IST while the second one will be played from 7pm IST.

The Saurashtra Premier League 2023 can be watched on Star Sports. The tournament will also be live-streamed on Jio Cinema and the viewers can watch it for free on the same app.
