One of India’s most promising shooters, Saurabh Chaudhary marked a disappointing return to international competition, as he ended 30th in the qualification round of the 10m pistol event at the ISSF World Cup Rio. This was the Tokyo Olympics finalists’ first international appearance in over a year. He scored only 572 points overall.

In his last competition, Saurabh Chaudhary had won a gold medal at the ISSF World Cup in Cairo. The youngster is low on confidence at the moment and even failed to make it to the World Championships and Asian Games 2023 squad. On the other hand, Sagar Dangi made it to the final of the same event. He finished second in qualification but failed to win a medal eventually.
In the qualification round, Sagar Dangi had shot a score of 581. In the final, he finished with a score of 157.4, while the Italians and Latvians completed the podium. Meanwhile, in the 20m pistol event, Kedarling Balakrishna Uchaganve and Sharvan Kumar, ended a disappointing 15 and 16th, respectively.
