Sarfaraz Khan turns Washington Sundar into “Mogambo”; Watch hilarious incident here

India is set to face Australia for the 2nd BGT Test in Canberra, starting from December 6.

Team India has finally landed in Adelaide. The Rohit Sharma-led side scripted an easy win in their rain-curtailed practice game against the Prime Minister’s XI in Canberra. Following that, the team has been upbeat and was in a mood after landing in Adelaide. Fans got to see the funny side of the camaraderie between players as the BCCI uploaded a special video. One of the moments that caught attention was the Bollywood reference game between Sarfaraz Khan and Washington Sundar.

After Team India landed, players were spotted at a shop in Adelaide. Spinner Sundar picked up a black hat, sparking a response by Sarfaraz Khan, who said, “Yeh (hat) phehn na bhai, Mogambo lagega. Arey, you will look like Mogambo. (Wear this hat you will look like Mogambo).” Indian fans would know Mogambo as a movie character, played by late Amrich Puri.

Sundar, unaware of who Mogambo is, claimed that he is looking like a magician. Following that, Sarfaraz himself picked up a hat. Seeing the Mumbai-born, veteran spinner Ravichandran Ashwin praised him and said, “Bhohot bdiya. Seriously, kamal hai”.

Talking about Sarfaraz, his place in the team is not certain. The middle-order batter warmed the bench as India played Dhruv Jurel instead. Sarfaraz, meanwhile, did bat in the practice game but only managed to score 1 run. As for Sundar, he is touted to play as a sole spinner once again. His better batting exploits and a high-arm action has prompted up the pecking order of Ashwin and Ravindra Jadeja.
