Sarfaraz Khan scored a brilliant 96 in the warm-up game against England Lions to grab selectors' attention.

Sarfaraz Khan continued his run-scoring spree, notching yet another brilliant knock to put India A in control in the ongoing two-day practice match against England Lions.

Sarfaraz missed out on a century as he got dismissed on 96. His quickfire innings included 11 fours and 1 six as India extended their lead to 98 runs in the game.

The Mumbai batter, who has been banging on selectors’ door since 2020, has still not found a place in the Indian Test squad.

For India, Manav Suthar took three wickets, while Akash Deep bagged two. Vidhwat Kaverappa, Tushar Deshpande, and Pulkit Narang took one wicket each. As of the latest updates, India has scored 334 runs, losing four wickets in 66 overs, taking a lead of 98 runs.
