Mumbai selectors have announced the squad for the first two matches. Sarfaraz’s Irani Trophy heroics
In the recent Irani Trophy clash, Mumbai triumphed over the Rest of India team. After being left out of the playing XI during the series against Bangladesh, Sarfaraz finally got an opportunity to perform with the Mumbai squad. His crucial 222-run knock in the first innings helped Mumbai amass 537 runs, while the Rest of India side managed 416. Mumbai was declared the winner due to a higher first-innings score.
