A debut to remember for Sarfaraz Khan! After scoring 62 in the first inning, the right-handed batter scored yet another fifty in the second inning to create an astounding record. The batter from Mumbai has become just the fourth Indian to make fifty or plus scores in each inning on their Test debut.
The middle-order batter has joined an elite list after his blistering knock in the India vs England 3rd Test. Dilawar Hussain was the first man to do so, 90 years ago. Another Indian great, Sunil Gavaskar, achieved the feat against the mighty West Indies side in 1971, while Shreyas Iyer did so at home just three years ago.
