Sanju Samson is a proud man today as his team has made history in the Ranji Trophy, securing a spot in the final after 74 years. Kerala confirmed their place by gaining a two-run lead in the first innings, with the match ending in a draw against Gujarat.
Sanju Samson congratulate Kerala for making a history
Samson shared a story, writing, “Absolutely thrilled to see this happening… A dream we all believed in together 10 years ago is just one step away, boys!! It’s ours, go get it… Kerala Cricket.”

Why Sanju Samson is not playing the match?
Samson was expected to play for Kerala in the Ranji Trophy knockout stages after he was left out of India’s Champions Trophy team, but that hasn’t happened. His injury sustained during India vs England’s fifth T20I at Mumbai’s Wankhede Stadium is the cause of his absence.
Samson made his debut for Kerala when he was selected for the squad in the 2011-12 Vijay Hazare Trophy, making his List-A debut on February 23, 2012, against Andhra Pradesh.
Samson has scored 3,487 runs for Kerala in first-class matches across 128 games. He has an average of 33.85, with three centuries and 19 fifties in domestic cricket. The player is the captain of Rajasthan Royals, and his fans will next see him in the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2025, which begins on March 22.
