Bumrah and Samson will undergo YoYo Test soon

The Asia Cup bound India team has hit the ground running with the closed-door camp in Alur, where the squad members are undergoing routine fitness tests ahead of the continental event beginning August 30. While the likes of Rohit Sharma, Virat Kohli and Shubman Gill among others have passed the YoYo test, Bumrah, Samson, Tilak Varma and Prasidh Krishna are expected to go through the fitness test soon.

In the video posted by Star Sports, Bumrah alongside Tilak can be seen entering the vicinity. Later on, the speedster did some warm-up before bowling in full steam in the nets. To note, Bumrah had an excellent outing against Ireland as he returned to competitive cricket after a period of almost one year. Leading a rather young Indian side, Bumrah was adjudged player of the series for his lethal bowling against the Irish side. On the other hand, Samson also fared well in the series but could not show his absolute best.
