Lamichhane is set to reach Nepal in a few days and is ready to face the concerned authorities and prove himself innocent.

“I am INNOCENT & keep complete belief in the respectable laws of Nepal. I have decided to take a leave from CPL and go back to my country within a few days.I am ready to face all these baseless allegations. May justice be served to the innocent & right investigation to be done towards everyone involved. Hope the law acts equal to everyone,” he wrote on social media.

At the end, if the player is found guilty, it will be one of the worst days in Nepal cricket. The leg-spinner has been the flag bearer of sorts for Cricket Nepal. He has featured in top leagues like the Indian Premier League, Big Bash League among others. It has helped him become one of the most well known faces in the cricket circuit from Nepal.

But such kind of matters lend a negative feel against his name. Lamichhane will be eager to come out clean on the matter and resume his good bond with CAN as well. At the international platform, he has played 30 ODIs and 85 T20s so far in his career.
