The Wrestlers who have been gritty in their protest for over a month donned a special “I Support Wrestlers” T-shirt to spread their protest at a global level have been met with strong resistance from the Delhi cops.

Taking to social media, wrestler Sakshi Malik uploaded a video where she and her fellow wrestlers were stopped by the Police from entering the erstwhile Feroz Shah Kotla Stadium in Delhi. After witnessing the incident fans went on to pour their opinions on social media.

The wrestlers continue their protest against Brij Bhusan Sharan Singh. The WFI chief was accused of sexual exploitation with other wrestlers including a minor. On the other hand, the wrestlers are planning on shifting to the Ram Leela Maidan, a bigger venue for their protest in their bid to make their protest more appealing to the public.

Wrestlers Protest: Ready To Sacrifice Medals To Ensure Justice For Victims, Says Bajrang Punia

It has also come to light that the wrestlers plan on making their protest a global event. Earlier, a war of words was shared between Brij Bhusan Singh and the wrestlers, after the former went on to claim that the wrestlers have earned medals that are of rupees 15 in price.

Wrestler Bajrang Punia immediately retorted back claiming, “He (Brij Bhushan) has not given me the medal in charity. I have earned it for the country with my blood and sweat. He shouldn’t have uttered these words if he truly respects our achievements.”
