Safety is paramount. If it is for kids then it is of utmost importance. For the CSK vs KKR clash, the ball-boys at the Chepauk Stadium were spotted wearing helmets. A stadium which sees quite a few sixes being hit, the hosts took huge safety precautions for the young ball-boys.
Chennai Super Kings decided that every ball boy standing outside the boundary rope should be wearing yellow helmets. Chennai is often a paradise for batters. As a result a considerable amount of sixes are hit at the Chepauk. Therefore in a bid to reduce any head injuries, the team has implemented helmets for the young ball-boys.
Safety First at all Costs
Chennai Super Kings have taken safety for their young ball-boys at the top level. Fans were delighted after witnessing the wonderful move from the team. Fans congratulated the club for their heart-warming move.
But Kolkata Knight riders didn’t trouble the ball boys with much sixes. In fact the slow nature of the pitch worked wonders for the bowlers. Ravindra Jadeja and Tushar Deshpande both bagged 3 wickets a piece. KKR in the end managed to hit just 4 sixes in 137 run innings.
