Tendulkar to Dhoni: List of cricketers invited for Ram Mandir Pran Pratishtha in Ayodhya

As many as 16 cricketers (both present and past) have been invited for the consecration on January 22.

Right now, Ayodhya is preparing for the Ram Mandir Pran Pratishtha (Ram Temple consecration) on Monday, January 22. To celebrate the auspicious moment in recent Indian history, several cricketers have been invited by the Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra.

The news of several current and former cricket stars like MS Dhoni, Sachin Tendulkar, and Virat Kohli being invited for the consecration has broken out long before. However, as many as 16 cricketers have been invited to the historic moment in Ayodhya. Here is the list of cricketers that have been invited:

So far, only two of the sixteen cricketers have been confirmed to be present for the consecration. Interestingly, both cricketers (Gautam Gambhir and Harbhajan Singh) are politicians.

Among the other fourteen, there are five active players (Kohli, Rohit, Ashwin, Jadeja, and Harmanpreet), while the remaining nine are retired cricketers.
