Sachin Tendulkar has still got it: Fans rejoice as Master Blaster turns clock back in charity game

Sachin Tendulkar's side won the charity match by four wickets as he scored 27 runs off 16 balls.

Veteran Sachin Tendulkar took the field in a charity match on Thursday (January 18). Speaking about his performance, Sachin bowled two overs and took one wicket with the ball. In the second innings of the match, he scored 27 runs in just 16 balls with two fours and one maximum. Thanks to his efforts, Sachin Tendulkar’s side won the game by four wickets.

Apart from Sachin Tendulkar, Yuvraj Singh, Yusuf Pathan, Muttiah Muralitharan, Parthiv Patel, Upul Tharanga, Alok Kapali among other veterans took part in the match.

Speaking more about the charity game, cricketers from various nations featured in the match which happened for a cause. Played at the Muddenahalli, a village in Karnataka, over 5000 rural students will be benefitted directly from the charity match. The students are set to receive free values-based education.
