World-renowned and Indian Premier League (IPL) auctioneer Richard Madley will take over the auction duties of this new league. SA20 took to social media to post, “#SA20… Remember the name! Watch as @IPLAuctioneer , Richard Madley prepares to get down to business in the upcoming SA20 auction on 19 September 2022.”
An overjoyed Richard Hardley introduced himself and spoke about the upcoming league and its auction. He said, “Hi I am Richard Madley sometimes also known as the hammerman.”

Just like others, Richard Madley was apparently confused with the name of this new tournament. He fumbled quite a lot before being able to name the tournament correctly. He said, ” I am the CSA T20 Auctioneer.” After being informed of the name, he memorized it and then gleefully went on to repeat the ‘Sa20’ name quite a few times.
A total of 6 teams will take part in this competition scheduled to commence next year. However, the auction of the league between the 6 teams will take place this month. The auction will take place on 19th September. The 6 participating teams in the tournament are Durban’s Super Giants, Joburg Super Kings, MI Cape Town, Paarl Royals, Pretoria Capitals, and Sunrisers Eastern Cape.
