SA20 League: MI Cape Town coach staff: Ahead of the maiden SA20 player auction slated for September 19 in Cape Town, the MI Cape Town on Thursday unveiled its coaching staff. The premier T20 cricket league in South Africa is SA20, which is in its inaugural season. Simon Katich has been named head coach while Hashim Amla will take responsibility as a batting coach. Simon Katich, a former Australian batter, will serve as the team’s head coach, and Hashim Amla, a legendary South African batter, will serve as the group’s batting coach.

Simon brings a wealth of knowledge to the table and is renowned for his logical and simple approach to the game. The fastest 2000, 3000, 4000, 5000, and 6000 ODI runs have all been accomplished by Hashim, who is renowned for his dependability.

James Pamment, a former New Zealand batter, will serve as the team’s fielding coach, and Robin Peterson, a former South African player, and local coach will serve as the general manager. They both have a strong MI ethos.

Peterson had previously played for the Mumbai Indians in the Indian Premier League (IPL), and Pamment is the current fielding coach for the Mumbai Indians.

MI Cape Town have already announced the signing of 5 players ahead of the inaugural edition – Kagiso Rabada, Dewald Brevis, Rashid Khan, Sam Curran, and Liam Livingstone.
