The visitors were expected to give some tough fight in the two-match Test series considering the hosts were without plenty of their first-choice players. That did not happen as they meekly tamed to South Africa’s spin twins.

Keshav Maharaj was adjudged the player of the match and the series award. He took 16 wickets in two games and also scored 108 runs. SA bowled out Bangladesh for 217 in the first innings of the second Test to take a 238 run lead on Sunday. Veteran campaigner Mushfiqur Rahim was the top-scorer for Bangladesh with 51 runs to his name. Tamim Iqbal and Yasir Ali too got starts but managed to score 47 and 46 respectively as South Africa are in a prime position in the match.
