Aiden Markram will continue to lead the side in the absence of Temba Bavuma.

After the conclusion of T20I series, India and South Africa will face off in the 3-match ODI series, starting on Sunday, December 17 in Johannesburg. While teams’ focus have been on T20Is due to T20 World Cup next year, it will be a good opportunity for the Men in Blue to test youngsters on South African soil.

The hosts will be eyeing to take revenge of the embarrassing ODI World Cup loss they suffered against India last month.

The Proteas registered a historic 3-0 ODI series whitewash over India the last time they hosted the Men in Blue.

With Virat Kohli, Rohit Sharma, Jasprit Bumrah rested, the Aiden Markram-led side will be confident to replicate the 2022 series result.
