The latest ICC T20I rankings saw a significant rise for Indian opener Ruturaj Gaikwad. His impressive performances against Zimbabwe helped him climb 13 places to claim the number 7 spot, regaining his place in the top 10 batsmen.
Gaikwad’s fiery 77 runs in the second T20I and a composed 49 in the third certainly boosted his rating points to a current 662.
Jaiswal falls to 10th position
Jaiswal falls 3 places, currently ranked 10th with 739 points. This isn’t Gaikwad’s peak. He previously secured a career-best ranking of 700 points in 2023, following the T20 series against Australia.

Surya regained his position
Mr. 360, Suryakumar Yadav, retained his well-deserved second position with a rating of 821. The top spot, however, is taken by Australia’s Travis Head, who has 844 rating points.
