RR vs RCB Highlights: Another day and another win for the Rajasthan Royals. The Sanju Samson-led team is making winning a habit in the IPL 2024, with four wins on the trot. RR has now won three matches at home and has had an impressive win in Mumbai. In what seemed like an easy win, Rajasthan beat the Royal Challengers Bengaluru by 6 wickets, never breaking a sweat during the 184-run chase in Jaipur.
Is Virat Kohli injured?
While fielding in the 16th over, Kohli was aiding Glenn Maxwell at the deep mid-wicket boundary. Although it was Maxwell who dived to stop the ball and then threw it towards Kohli, it seemed like the Indian stalwart had gotten injured during the process. He hobbled after sending the throw to the keeper and was struggling a little bit. He moved into the 30-yard circle soon and then left the field after a short while. The nature and severity of the injury remain unknown at this point.
Virat Kohli’s still got it
Kohli did what he does best and scored a heap of runs. With the orange cap already in his back pocket, the maestro scored an incredible 113 in 72 balls. However, that is not all he did. He broke multiple records on his way to yet another IPL century. He scored the first ton of the IPL 2024 season and a record-extending 8th overall. He overtook Suresh Raina for most IPL catches and became the first player to score 7,500 runs in the league.

RR teammates celebrate Jos Buttler’s last ball ton
The second ton of the match came with just one left to win, and Buttler stuck at 94. Knowing that this was his last opportunity to get to his sixth IPL century, the opener took a massive heave and smashed the ball on the leg side to a hundred in his 100th IPL match. After that, there was a huge celebration, with both Buttler and Shimron Hetmyer and the whole Rajasthan Royals dugout jumping in joy.
Sanju Samson continues to impress
Samson led from the front once again. The Rajasthan Royals skipper scored his second half-century of the season and also moved into the top-run getters of the 2024 season. He scored a 69 off 42 after coming at 0/1 with Yashasvi Jaiswal departing for a silver duck. He then took control and stitched a 148-run stand with Buttler that helped his side get their fourth consecutive win.
