RR vs GT Predicted XI: Gill under pressure, Buttler special coming

Is Rashid Khan's poor performance a worrying sign for GT? What can we expect from Parag this time? Check out the probable XI of RR and GT

RR vs GT Predicted XI : Sawai Mansingh Stadium in Jaipur is all set to host another exciting IPL clash, this time between the Rajasthan Royals and Gujarat Titans. The power-packed team of the Rajasthan Royals, led by Sanju Samson, who are currently on a winning streak with four consecutive wins. RR are sitting comfortably at the top of the table, and they will be look to maintain their winning streak and strengthen their chances of qualifying for the playoffs.

On the other hand, the Gujarat Titans seem to be struggling as they have lost two close encounters in a row. Led by Shubman Gill, GT are desperately seeking a win as they are currently in the 7th position in the standings.

Rashid Khan’s below-average performance concerns GT

Afghanistan star spinner Rashid Khan’s performance is troubling GT as he hasn’t lived up to expectations in this IPL season to date. In five matches, Khan has taken just five wickets with an economy rate of 8.65. In the middle overs, he is not making the impact he should.

Khan is an asset to the GT franchise, and it will be interesting to see how he utilizes the upcoming game and contributes to the team’s performance.

GT Playing XI : Shubman Gill(c),Sai Sudharsan, Kane Williamson,Vijay Shankar, Rahul Tewatia, BR Sharath(wk), Rashid Khan ,Noor Ahmad, Mohit Sharma,  Umesh Yadav, Spencer Johnson

Are inconsistent finishers still an issue for RR?

With a top-heavy batting lineup including Yashasvi Jaiswal, Sanju Samson, and Jos Buttler, RR’s top-order batters are fulfilling requirements without facing any issues. However, as seen in the past, their batting becomes vulnerable when they lose top-order batters early and the team crumbles.

Although Riyan Parag’s batting in the middle order has given RR a big relief, as he consistently finishes games, to date he is getting support from other middle-order batters as well.

RR Playing XI : Jos Buttler,Yashasvi Jaiswal, Sanju Samson (wk/c), Shimron Hetmyer, Dhruv Jurel, Riyan Parag, Nandre Burger, Ravichandran Ashwin, Yuzvendra Chahal, Trent Boult, and Avesh Khan
