IPL 2021 – RR Playing XI vs KKR: With a thumping 8 wickets defeat against Mumbai Indians, Sanju Samson’s Rajasthan Royals are almost out of the fourth spot contention in the IPL 2021. The eight wickets not only pushed them down to the seventh spot, but it also took a toll on their net run rate as Rajasthan now has the worst NRR in the tournament. While they have the least chances of making it to the knockout stage, they would look to dent Kolkata Knight Riders’ playoff hopes and end the campaign on a positive. Both teams will square off at Sharjah Cricket Stadium, Sharjah tomorrow evening. Follow IPL 2021 live updates on Insidesport.in and live streaming on Star Sports & Hotstar.

The equation for Rajasthan Royals for the IPL 2021 Playoffs – Rajasthan Royals are sitting seventh in the points table with 10 points and one game to spare. While they need to win their final league fixture against KKR, they also need the other remaining games’ outcomes to fall in their favour. Check out-
- Rajasthan Royals will have to defeat KKR to remain in contention
- A defeat against KKR will knock them out of contention
- Apart from winning a win over KKR, Sanju Samson’s side also need Mumbai Indians to lose their final fixture against SRH
- However, in case of a 12-point tie, RR will need a huge win to topple KKR’s and MI’s net run-rate
Kolkata Knight Riders, on the other hand, would be eyeing a handsome win over Sanju Samson’s side to advance into the playoff. Having a superior net run rate than Mumbai Indians, the win against RR will take them through to the knockout stage.
Probable RR playing XI vs KKR:
Rajasthan Royals are unlikely to tweak their playing11 for the final fixture. Although, the Royal might give one more chance to off-color Chris Morris in the final outing. In that case, either David Miller or Glenn Phillips will warm the bench.
