Rohit Sharma's record in ICC tournament finals

Indian skipper Rohit Sharma is yet to score a fifty in the ICC tournament finals. Check out his overall record and stats below.

Indian skipper Rohit Sharma is set to lead team India in another ICC tournament final. Team India vs New Zealand Champions Trophy final match will be played on March 9 (Sunday) at the Dubai International Cricket Stadium. With the Men in Blue just one step away from the trophy, captain Rohit Sharma will be looking to play a match defining knock and also improve his record in ICC tournament finals.

Rohit Sharma’s record in ICC tournament finals

Speaking about Rohit Sharma’s record in ICC knockout matches, Rohit has scored 459 runs at an average of 51.00, with two centuries, including a knock of 137 against Bangladesh in the 2015 ICC Cricket World Cup quarterfinals and 123* against the same opponent in the Champions Trophy 2017 semis.

However, his record is not so good in the ICC tournament finals. In the ICC tournament finals, Rohit Sharma has just 56 runs in three games at a sub-par average of 18.66, with a best score of 47 in the 2023 WC finals. While he scored nine in the CT 2013 finals, he was out for a duck in the 2017 CT title against arch-rivals Pakistan

Will Rohit end his half-century drought, and will Virat finally hit a century at an ICC event final to become the second Indian after Saurav Ganguly to do so? The Indian skipper will look to have a good time with the bat and try to win the trophy for his side single handedly.
