Indian skipper Rohit Sharma on Wednesday surpassed Virat Kohli to become leading run scorer as India’s T20I captain during IND vs AFG 3rd T20I at M Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru.
With his 30th fifty in T20Is, Rohit became the Indian captain with most T20I runs.

The 36-year-old also equalled Virat Kohli’s record of most fifty plus scores as captain for India in T20Is. Rohit now has 12 fifty plus scores as Indian skipper in the shortest format of the game.
