Rohit keen to field best Playing XI
People have often touted the India vs Bangladesh series to be not that important as compared to IND vs NZ or the Border-Gavaskar Trophy. But Rohit has claimed has the IND vs BAN Test series won’t be a dress rehearsal. In fact the team will be fighting hard for win as each and every World Test Championship (WTC) Points matter.
“Every game is important while playing for the country, it’s not dress rehearsal for Australia series, there is WTC points to take – need to start the season on high,” Rohit added.
Rohit Sharma has made it clear that he isn’t taking this series lightly. India currently tops the charts in WTC Standings. And with Australia breathing down on their necks, India would naturally want to win and extend their lead in the standings. This has prompted the Indian captain to claim that he would pick his best XI for the opening Test.
