It was indeed a fan girl moment for the captain of a local Windies ladies wind ball team as she met Rohit Sharma in Trinidad amid the ongoing 2nd Test. Karen, the captain of the Rebirth wind ball cricket team, caught up with Rohit Sharma in Trinidad. The jubilant local captain elaborated on what went down in her small catch up session with Rohit Sharma, calling him one of the ‘top of the line captain’.

Karen elaborated on her brief interaction with Rohit Sharma post her meet with the Indian skipper. As per RevSportz, Karen said that they spoke about cricket and that she informed the Indian skipper that she was the captain of a wind ball cricket team, known commonly as tennis ball cricket in India.

“I heard a lot about it but I never played it,” Rohit Sharma said, as per Karen.

Further, Karen revealed that she told Rohit Sharma, they were two best captains, adding that she too had a successful stint as skipper of the ladies wind ball cricket side Rebirth.

I see him as a very good leader and the records speak for itself. The IPL, the Mumbai Indians and the Indian National Team. So, Rohit Sharma is a top of the line captain,” Karen said.
