“There hasn’t been much discussion about Rohit’s future. I spoke to him the night before, just sort of a review of the season. When I asked him what’s next for Rohit Sharma, he said ‘World Cup’. That’s perfect that’s all I need to know about. For me, he is the master of his own destiny. It’s a big auction next year, who knows what’s going to happen next year, we’ll take each day as it comes,” Boucher said.

Speculation has been raging since the last few months about Rohit Sharma being unhappy in the Mumbai Indians team. A pitch side conversation of Rohit with KKR support staff Abhishek Nayar went viral where Rohit was heard saying it was his last year for the franchise. It remains to be seen if he really meant it.
