Rohit Sharma has a stern message for IPL 2024 broadcaster, says privacy breached multiple times

Taking to X, Rohit Sharma slammed the broadcasters for not respecting privacy by recording every step and conversation of the player.

Former Mumbai Indians skipper Rohit Sharma has broken his silence on the controversial clip leaked by the broadcasters ahead of the game against KKR. The clip saw the Hitman requesting the broadcasters with folded hands, asking them to not record the audio. Taking to X, Rohit slammed the broadcasters for not respecting privacy by recording every step and conversation of the player.

In the conversation that could be heard in now deleted video that was originally posted by KKR and shared by others on social media, Rohit is heard telling Nayar that evey single thing seems to be changing and that while it was upon them, it was him who built that team as a divine space. He further goes on to say that it will be his last, KKR deleted the video soon after posting it on their social media channels.

In another incident following the conversation with Nayyar, Rohit is seen folding his hands in front of the camera, requesting the broadcasters to not record the conversation, adding that the previous one had gotten him into enough trouble.

There has been a lot of chatter since the video of Rohit and Nayyar found its way on social media. The conversation has fueled speculations of the former Mumbai Indians skipper moving to Kolkata Knight Riders in the next season.
