In the video, Rohit Sharma admits that his time in the shortest format of the game is done and that despite him being ready to come out of retirement, he wants to move on. The Indian skipper is eagerly awaiting to begin his new partnership with Gambhir which will aim to keep Indian cricket as paramount.

What are Rohit Sharma’s thoughts on Gambhir’s approach?

Rohit Sharma categorically stated thar Gambhir had a clear roadmap for the team which he intended to follow. He claimed that the experience of working with Gambhir was going to be different from that of working with Rahul Dravid or Ravi Shastri.

Gauti bhai is a very cheerful person in the dressing room. We shouldn’t try to get into his personal life, whether he wants to smile more or not. Gambhir has played a lot of cricket. He has been involved with lots of franchise as well. It’s going to be different with Gautam like it was different with Dravid and Ravi Shastri before him,” Rohit Sharma said in the pre-match press conference.
