The first batch of Indian Cricket Team has reached USA. Rohit Sharma, Ravindra Jadeja and few others departed to fly off for USA on 25th May midnight. And now after a long journey, the first batch of players have landed in USA. Team India are currently enjoying a short break, before they will hit the ground running ahead of the start of the tournament.
It was made clear that players from the team who fail to make it to the IPL Playoffs will be among the first batch to travel to USA. And now the first half of the team has landed in New York. Accompanying Rohit Sharma was Jasprit Bumrah, Rishabh Pant, Axar Patel, Shivam Dube and others.
Team India reach USA
Kuldeep Yadav, Arshdeep Singh, Jasprit Bumrah, Mohammed Sira, Ravindra Jadeja along with Khaleel Ahmed and Shubman Gill have also reached USA. Up next, India will begin their first practice session in New York. India will play just 1 warm-up match against Bangladesh on 1st June.
The ICC T20 World Cup is slated to start on 2nd June. And with the IPL 2024 ending, the rest of the players like will travel to join the camp. On the other hand, Hardik Pandya who has been vacationing alone will join the first batch of players ahead of their first training session.
