Speaking about the match, RR batted first as they put on a massive score of 212-7, courtesy a splendid knock of 124 by Yashasvi Jaiswal. Even though Rohit Sharma and Ishan Kishan gave MI a slow start chasing a big target, it was Cameron Green who started the momentum going with a 26-ball 44.

Suryakumar Yadav then continued the momentum as he looked his usual self smashing a 29-ball 55. However, it was Tim David who smashed his way to help MI achieve the target, with a 14-ball 45. The home side needed 17 to win off the last over, and David hit three consecutive sixes in the first three balls of Jason Holder to seal an incredible chase.
