Rohit Sharma becomes only 3rd Indian captain after Dhoni & Kohli to score 1000+ runs in all formats

Rohit has the most runs in Test cricket, Kohli in Tests, and Dhoni in ODI cricket as captains.

It’s a record-breaking Test in Dharamshala! Jonny Bairstow and Ravichandran Ashwin are playing their 100th Tests; Yashasvi Jaiswal has broken Virat Kohli’s record for most runs in a series; James Anderson is playing in a 50th venue and on the cusp of taking a milestone 700th wicket; Kuldeep Yadav became the third left-arm wrist spinner to take 50 Test wickets; and now Rohit Sharma has become the third Indian skipper to score over 1000 runs in all formats of the game.

Currently batting in the India vs England 5th Test, Rohit Sharma joined his former teammates and skippers Kohli and Dhoni as the third Indian captain to score over 1000 runs in all three formats. The opener leads the two in T20I runs, while Kohli has the most runs as the Test captain and Dhoni as the ODI captain.
