After naming the India squad for the upcoming T20 World Cup 2024, BCCI on Tuesday announced that Indian captain Rohit Sharma and Chief selector Ajit Agarkar will address a press conference on May 2nd in Mumbai.

The announcement came after India named their 15-man squad for the T20 World Cup squad which had quite a few surprises. Hardik Pandya was retained as the vice-captain in spite of rumours of Rishabh Pant pipping the MI captain for the role.
Pant and Sanju Samson got the nod as wicketkeeper-batters while Shubman Gill and Rinku Singh were named in the reserves.

The press conference will be held on May 2nd at the BCCI Headquarters in Mumbai from 4 PM IST. Mumbai Indians are due to play KKR at the Wankhede Stadium on May 3 and Rohit Sharma will be in Mumbai ahead of the match. Due to MI playing LSG at the Ekana Stadium in Lucknow, the press conference has been delayed by two days.
