The India Cricket Team began their short camp in Chennai before the start of the IND vs BAN Test series. And among the players it is was the top batting order players who had the most bite of the cherry. Rohit Sharma, Virat Kohli, Shubman Gill and Rishabh Pant were the key players in focus who were spotted toiling hard in facing spinners.

Virat Kohli returns to Test cricket after a span of roughly 9 months. On the other hand, Rishabh Pant is gearing for his Test comeback after 2 years since his life-threatening accident. Worry about Bangladeshi spinners, the Indian batters spent a considerable amount of time on the nets, facing the spinners.

India worried about Spin threat

It is no surprise that Bangladesh has a good spin unit and India are very worried about it. Especially after Bangladesh’s dominant 2-0 win in Tests at Pakistan. Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli led from the front practicing at two different pitches of red and black soil.

Joining the Ro-Ko duo were Yashasvi Jaiswal and Shubman Gill and the quartet faced nets bowlers Ajith Ram and M Siddharth. The players worked the ball hard before Varun Chakravarthy and off-spinner Himanshu Singh came to bowl.

Rishabh Pant eager for Test comeback

While Team India gears up for a gruelling for a 10 Test matches. While India is ready to take on Bangladesh, New Zealand and Australia, another player is also keen to make a strong comeback in the team. And that player in focus is India’s destructive southpaw and keeper – Rishabh Pant.

Earlier in march, Rishabh Pant made a comeback to competitive cricket in IPL 2023. Following which he played the ICC T20 World Cup which the Men in Blue won. So following his return, Pant has now been a regular player in the setup. But now, the player is ready to make his comeback in Test cricket which begins with the IND vs BAN Tests.
