Rohan Jaitley dismisses rumours of being frontrunner to replace Jay Shah as BCCI secretary

Earlier, reports of DDCA president Rohan Jaitley emerging as the frontrunner for the position of BCCI secretary did rounds

Delhi District Cricket Association (DDCA) president Rohan Jaitley has dismissed rumours of him contesting for the position of BCCI secretary. A day earlier, reports of Jaitley being the frontrunner for the position had emerged. Jay Shah is reportedly expected to move on to being the ICC chairman later this year.

Rohan Jaitley denies rumours of replacing Jay Shah as BCCI secretary

As per NDTV, Rohan Jaitley said that he has no plans to enter the race for the BCCI post. The son of former finance minister late Arun Jaitley further said that he intends to focus on enhancing the DDCA instead.

Earlier, a Dainik Bhaskar report had stated that Jaitley was the frontrunner to replace Jay Shah.
