“BCCI vice-president Rajiv Shukla and I will travel to Pakistan through the Wagah Border on September 4. Apart from the official dinner, we will also witness a couple of matches,” Binny said earlier.
“On September 7, the BCCI duo will return to India. This is the first trip a BCCI president will make to the neighboring nation since India and Pakistan broke up their bilateral cricket relationship in the wake of the 2008 Mumbai terror attacks,” he added.
Meanwhile, both Binny and Shukla reached the neighbouring country where they were warmly greeted by PCB chairman Ashraf and other senior Pakistani delegates. Both Binny and Shukla are expected to stay in Pakistan for the next three days and are slated to watch the Asia Cup matches being held in the country.
