Robin Minz set to miss whole IPL 2024 after bike accident, confirms GT coach Ashish Nehra

Robin Minz suffered an unfortunate bike accident when he lost control of his Super Bike in Gumla, Jharkhand.

Indian and Gujarat Titans cricketer Robin Minz, who recently suffered a bike accident ahead of the start of the Indian Premier League, is set to miss the whole of IPL 2024, Gujarat Titans head coach Ashish Nehra said.

Minz, who was scooped up by Gujarat Titans at the IPL 2024 mini auction for a whopping Rs 3.60 crores, met with the accident after losing control of his super bike.

Presumably the first Adivasi (indigenous) cricket player to be purchased at an IPL auction, Minz was said to have lost control of his Super Bike Kawasaki close to Gumla, Jharkhand, where he was raised. He did, however, manage to avoid significant harm, his father Francis Minz had stated.

However, now it looks like Robin Minz will not be able to take part in the 2024 edition of IPL. Ashish Nehra of Gujarat Titans on Saturday confirmed that there’s not a lot of hope that Minz will be able to recover in time to take part in IPL 2024 in any capacity.
