Team India made a horrendous start to their chase of 200 in IND vs AUS World Cup match at Chepauk Stadium in Chennai on Sunday. After bundling out Australia for 199, Team India were reduced to 2/3 in 2 overs. India’s top 3 – Rohit Sharma, Ishan Kishan and Shreyas Iyer – departed on duck on a slugglish pitch.
Ishan Kishan was the first one to depart when he played a loose shot on Mitchell Starc’s delivery and got caught at slip.
Indian skipper Rohit Sharma was next as he was undone by Josh Hazlewood’s cracking inswinger. Shreyas Iyer followed two balls later as he provided a simple catch to short cover.
