Date & venues for India vs South Africa series announced, West to play 2 Tests too

As many as 23 T20 internationals are lined up for India before the T20 World Cup 2026.

Yes, the hype for the Indian Premier League (IPL) is going through the roof currently. However, in what has come as a massive announcement, the schedule for India’s white-ball series against South Africa has been revealed. According to reports, the bilateral series of three ODIs and five T20Is are set in what will be a repeat of the T20 World Cup 2024 Final.

Team India has a packed cricketing schedule post-IPL 2025. While the 18th edition of the cash-rich league will be a roadmap for several superstars, India have many matches to strengthen and strategies for the T20 World Cup 2025. Following the IPL 2025, India will have away tours to England and Bangladesh before the T20 Asia Cup kicks in September.

India to host South Africa late in 2025

After the Asia Cup, West Indies will arrive for two Tests. Those two Tests are likely to be played in Mohali and Kolkata. India will travel to Australia for three ODIs and five T20Is before a multi-format series commences against South Africa. The series will feature two Tests, three ODIs and five T20Is. The second Test against the Proteas will be played in Guwahati, an unprecedented moment for the northeast region

Ranchi, Raipur and Vizag will be the three venues for the 50-over formats. The five T20I venues are: Cuttack, Nagpur, Dharmasala, Lucknow and Ahmedabad. All the five games will be wrapped up in 10 days.

India vs South Africa ODI Series:

  1. November 30: Ranchi
  2. December 3: Raipur
  3. December 6: Vizag

India vs South Africa T20I Series:

  1. December 9: Cuttack
  2. December 11: Nagpur
  3. December 14: Dharmshala
  4. December 17: Lucknow
  5. December 19: Ahmedabad
