The Tournament Landscape: Who’s in the Running?

The Copa America 2024 boasts representation from 10 member teams of the South American Football Confederation (CONMEBOL) and four teams from the Confederation of North, Central America and Caribbean Association Football (CONCACAF). Notably, the United States, Mexico, Jamaica, and Panama secured their spots through the CONCACAF Nations League, while two more teams will emerge from crucial play-off games on March 23.

Copa America Group Stage Face-offs: Argentina’s Competition Unveiled

In the group stage draw, Argentina finds themselves in Group A alongside formidable opponents Peru, Chile, and the winner of Play-off 1. Group B features Mexico, Ecuador, Venezuela, and Jamaica, promising intense clashes. The United States, Uruguay, Panama, and Bolivia make up Group C, while Group D sees Brazil, Colombia, Paraguay, and the winner of Play-off 2 battling for supremacy.

Host Cities: A Tour Across the U.S.

Fourteen cities across the United States are set to host the Copa América matches. The semifinals will unfold in East Rutherford, New Jersey, and Charlotte, North Carolina, leading up to the grand finale on July 14 in Miami Gardens, Florida. From Atlanta to Los Angeles, the tournament will showcase the best of football in various iconic American venues.
