Delhi Capitals skipper Rishabh Pant will continue playing for the side in IPL 2025, Sourav Ganguly confirmed. This comes after reports suggested that the keeper-batter would leave DC and might be bound to CSK for the next edition of the tournament. However, it looks like none of that will happen and the southpaw is all set to continue leading the Capitals.
Rishabh Pant to stay at DC for IPL 2025
As per One India Bengali, Sourav Ganguly said in an interview that Rishabh Pant will continue to play for DC. After being on the sidelines for almost a year following a horrific car crash, Pant made his comeback in IPL 2024, leading DC in what was an awful campaign.
Pant, who was named DC’s skipper in 2021, has failed to take the team forward in the past editions of IPL. The Capitals managed to win only seven out of their 14 games in IPL 2024, leading the Rishabh Pant-led side to be eliminated in the league stage of the tournament.
