Indian southpaw met with a car accident on December 30 on the Delhi-Dehradun highway due to which he suffered severe injuries and had to distance himself from cricket. Rishabh was felt a sleep during the drive which caused the accident. After the car crash incident, Rishabh was ruled out of the Indian Premier League 2023 and the World Test Championship Final. It has been nine months that India’s star batter has not been in action on the cricket field.

On January 7 Rishabh underwent a successful knee surgery at the Kokilaben Dhirubhai Ambani Hospital and Medical Research Institute. It was a big relief for the fans as it gave a light of hope for his return in cricket field.

Pant is receiving treatment in National Cricket Academy (NCA) Bangalore. He has shared many videos and posts where he showed massive improvement. He has been providing his followers with updates on his rehabilitation. In his recovery, Pant has shown amazing perseverance and resolve.

The Board of Cricket Council of India (BCCI) on July provided an update on Rishabh Pant’s recovery and said that he has started hitting the nets and started batting. On August 4, NCA revealed that Pant is pain-free and back to his aggressive batting style, easily handling deliveries faster than 140 kilometers.

What can be Rishabh Pant recovery date?

A BCCI source on July 25 hinted the return of Rishabh in the international cricket. According to the sources, Rishabh could make a comeback on the upcoming England tour of India which will start from January 25.
