Pant was India’s hero in the last Border Gavaskar Trophy. He scored an unbeaten 89 to guide India to victory in what seemed Mission Impossible at Gabba. India once again face Australia, now at home. But Pant won’t be there. Former Australia greats believe Pant will be the biggest miss for Team India.

“India are really going to really miss Rishabh Pant. The Australians will be happy. He is a counter-attacker, the guy who keep you awake are guys who score quickly and changes game in one session. Pant was one such player,” Ian Chappell said.
