Rishabh Pant Accident: Rishabh Pant suffered a horrific crash on his way to Dehradun in the wee hours of Friday. Pant was driving alone in his Mercedes and was ‘lucky to survive’ as his vehicle caught fire. The 25-year-old broke the window of his car to escape, with locals and a bus driver helping him off to a nearby hospital. Pant is currently stable, BCCI confirmed. Former India captain Virat Kohli on Friday sent a message to Rishabh Pant following his accident. “Get well soon @RishabhPant17. Praying for your recovery,” Kohli wrote on Twitter. The two last played together in the recently-concluded Test series against Bangladesh.

Rishabh Pant suffered a severe car accident on his way to Roorkee in the early hours of Friday morning. The Indian wicketkeeper fell asleep at the wheel and crashed into the divider. He broke the glass and escaped with people rushing to help him. He was shifted to Max Hospital in Dehradun and is revealed to be out of danger.
“Rishabh has two cuts on his forehead, a ligament tear in his right knee and has also hurt his right wrist, ankle, toe and has suffered abrasion injuries on his back. Rishabh’s condition remains stable, and he has now been shifted to Max Hospital, Dehradun, where he will undergo MRI scans to ascertain the extent of his injuries and formulate his further course of treatment,” a BCCI Statement confirmed later.
Uttarakhand CM Pushkar Singh Dhami has instructed officials to ensure all possible arrangements for the treatment of the injured cricketer Rishabh Pant. He has also asked to provide an air ambulance if required, stated CMO.
